Meet me!
Hi there! My name is Tasha and I'm the photographer behind TKPhotography. I'm currently a Freelance Photographer as well as working in the Marketing industry. I've been dabbling in photography and videography since the age of 15 and have always been referred to as a "natural-born creative". Photography is my passion and I have loved developing my specialisms in this area, focusing on capturing people and portraits as I've gotten older. I love to experiment, so I'm always exploring different types of photography, but my key specialisms are Portrait Photography, Wedding Photography and also Travel Photography.
A little bit about me...
I'm a chatty, animated and bubbly person, and I love meeting new people through photography sessions. I'm a huge dog person, big Formula 1 fan, lover of Dancehall & Soca music and I'm an avid tea drinker. Self development is a big part of my life - I excercise every morning, read books, listen to podcasts and I'm a big advocate for positive mindsets, mental health & wellbeing, as well as body positivity. I've got a big sweet tooth, have an unhealthy obsession with pancakes and will never say no to Mexican Food. Travel is another big passion of mine, and I love exploring the world, meeting new people and experiencing new perspectives. In general, I believe that life is short, and I'm person that tries to live consciously, smile lots, practice gratitude and to make the most of each and every day by doing something that brings me happiness.
A little bit about my approach...
My approach to photography is a people-centred one. I like to capture a person as their authentic selves, in their natural moments and way of being. This is because I believe that this is when a person is the most beautiful - when they're just being themselves. Taking a relaxed, friendly and warm approach to photography, I really focus on building a rapport with my clients. The more comfortable a client is with me, the better the photos, and the better the photography experience for them. My goal is to make someone feel at ease infront of my camera. It's really important to me that we bond and catch a vibe, as it's going to help with producing a set of high quality photographs that my client(s) are truly happy with.
